Experience High Country Living at Southern Comfort a lovely log home! Located in the quiet Shore's Farm log cabin community between Boone and Blowing Rock, you're sure to find relaxation here. The main level features a spacious living room with 47" HDTV with DVD player with WIFI, stacked stone wood-burning fireplace (firewood not provided) and cathedral ceiling, a dining area, a fully-equipped open kitchen with an island. Also on this floor is a full bath, 2 bedrooms 1 with 2 queen beds and 1 with 2 twin beds. Upstairs is a spacious master suite with king bed and a private full bath. Also on this level is an open loft with a sleeper sofa, 5-CD stereo, 40" Smart TV with VCR, and several movies to enjoy. Walk-in Level has bonus living area with a stereo, 32" HDTV and an air hockey game table. Also on this level is a laundry room and a full bath. Walk outside to the firepit and enjoy some family fun around the fire on a nice evening. Step out onto the covered deck and relax in the soothing hot tub, or rock your cares away in one of the rockers on the front porch, as you listen to the songbirds. A picnic table and gas grill awaits for al fresco dining. - Close to ASU, Downtown Boone and Blowing Rock shopping and restaurants - Nearby attractions: Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Blowing Rock, Historic Mast General Store, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Hawks Nest Snow Tubing and Zipline, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Grandfather Vineyard and Winery, Banner Elk Winery, Linville Falls Winery. - Short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking areas including Moses Cone Memorial Park, Julian Price Lake and Lin Cove Viaduct. - Other nearby things to enjoy include Boone Area Wine Trail, Linville Falls and Caverns PET FEE: $25 PER PET PER NIGHT UP TO 2 MATURE DOGS PLEASE Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance.
