If you are into the great outdoors, sharp objects, and things that go bang, Smoky Mountain Knife Works needs to be included on your Smoky Mountain bucket list. This impressive store is a must stop attraction complete with tens-of-thousands of knives, an impressive taxidermy collection, knife museum, and tons of shopping for the entire family!

Smoky Mountain Knife Works carries almost every major brand of knives – some of the brands include Remington, Buck, Case, Gerber, Kershaw, Schrade, Cold Steel, SOG, Spyderco, Browning, and many more! If you are looking for a hard-to-find knife, they probably carry it. The majority of prices are on-par with the best deal you can find online and here you can handle the knives and see them for yourself prior to purchasing.

Inside the store, you will find the free National Knife Museum. This small museum features over 12,000 knives, swords, and artifacts from every era – there are even some pieces from colonial times! In addition, there is even a small theater with films related to cutlery and shows.

As you are walking through the store, keep your eyes high on the walls to see unique taxidermy pieces. There are stuffed wild animals throughout the store including a real elephant! The store also features indoor streams and a tall indoor waterfall that adds to the ambiance.

Do you have knives that needs sharpening? No problem. For only $2, Smoky Mountain Knife Works will sharpen any blade to ensure peak performance once again.

The size of the store combined with some clutter and general disorganization can create a distracting shopping experience. However, for the determined knife enthusiast, the almost two acres (80,000 square feet) of multi-level retail space will seem like a slice of heaven.
