Conveniently located a mere 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and the famed Biltmore Estates, the Asheville Outlets is a great addition to a day’s adventure in the Asheville area.

Of course, as the main draw of the shopping center, the shops that make up Asheville Outlets are vast. They include favorites like:

and many, many other options.

Thankfully, the outlet also has a good variety of eateries in the food court area, which means you can spend the entire day shopping without having to leave the premises to refuel.

There are several snack or light eating options including:

Auntie Anne’s
Lindt Master Swiss Chocolatier
Beef Jerky Outlet
Earthling Coffee
ChinaMax
Acropolis Pizza Café

In addition to the many traditional, recognizable store options and dining choices, there are also some specialty shops that you won’t find just anywhere (though some are chains) within the Asheville Outlets shops. They include the Asheville Dispensary, which is a locally based store that offers hemp, apothecary, and a lounge, and the iSmashed NC, where you can go to have a phone, tablet, or computer repair. There is also a MA monogram store where you can have items personalized, a Pepper Palace, PopNBeards, and more.

The Asheville Outlets shopping center is very guest-focused. There are soft seating areas as well as covered breezeways that take you to and from the stores and restaurants, providing a natural airflow and a protected environment from the elements. The center also features a picturesque fountain and a beautiful fire for guest enjoyment, which further adds to the overall ambiance of the shopping center.

If you would like more information about what’s in the outlet and how to take advantage of any deals they might be having at the time, visit the Customer Service desk located in the Food Court. Here, you will be provided with store information, directions, and more. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the Asheville Outlets space for guest convenience. ATMs can be found in the Food Court, as well as the all-important restrooms.

Asheville Outlets is still fairly new to the area. It was created when an outdated enclosed mall was converted and renovated into the wonderful outdoor village that stands today. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Arboretum are located a mere two miles away from the shopping center. Many enjoy visiting the shopping center after they enjoy a day hike exploring the area’s waterfalls.

Asheville Outlets is open daily, with extended hours for the Christmas shopping season. It is also an Asheville Transit stop, for Bus Route W2, which means you can get transportation from wherever you are staying right to the shops, without having to worry about driving. Other guest conveniences include stroller rentals, electric charge stations, in the parking lot near the Food Court and Coach Outlet, and a Mobile Patrol Program, which is a uniformed officer who patrols the parking areas assisting customers with lockouts, deflated tires, jump-starting a battery, and just helping to locate a vehicle when you forget where you parked.

The outlet stores in this shopping center carry merchandise that was originally stocked in the brand’s retail stores but has now been phased out or discontinued. These goods are then purchased for the outlet mall stores. This means you can find some great deals on some name-brand items that would otherwise be pretty expensive.

Insider Tips:
-Pets on a leash are welcome in the outdoor space. In fact, the shopping center even features a pet way station with ample green space and a drinking fountain, located behind the West Elm outlet. Be sure to clean up after your pet and know that pets aren’t welcome to enter every store as it is a store-by-store decision.
-Groups of 10 or more guests who register can receive a free drawstring pack, goodies, a Savings Coupon book, and more. Guests with Motor Coach and Tour Operators also receive additional perks when registering with Customer Service.
